This past weekend, I took a day trip up through the Scotland countryside to Oban, a town in the Highlands. On the way up to Oban, I drove through the mountain ranges of Scotland and attempted to capture their beauty on camera. However, like many aspects of Scotland, it is almost impossible to express how breathtaking these views are unless you have lived to see them.
Oban is a fishing town with ferries that connect the town to other towns and islands. It is home to the famous Oban Distillery and to an old Tower ruin. The town is built on hills, with the main town near the sea and the the tower overlooking the town.
While my visit to Oban was brief, I did manage to visit a few of the town's features, and I look forward to returning to the Highlands.
